Are you interested in fostering refugees?
GLF is looking for people, interested in fostering refugees. More specifically, children refugees. Many children who enter the foster care system are refugees. Currently however, there are not enough foster carers, to look after all the children in care. For this reason, GLF works to fill the gaps that local authorities cannot.
It is a scary time for those children and GLF aims to place them in homes with foster carers who can offer them the means to stay safe and begin to rebuild a new life.
For this reason, GLF needs people like you. Do you have a spare room and the time to care for a child?
Do you think you could offer a safe place for refugee children, with nowhere to go? Why not become a foster carer?
If you have any questions about fostering refugees, or would like any more information about fostering in general, get in touch. We’re always happy to help, and we’re only a phone call or email away. We’ve even produced a guide to fostering, which is worth a read, if you’re interested in becoming a foster carer.
Finally, we’d like to thank you for your interest in fostering.
